Riverboat cruise (Padelford Packet Boat Company), Tuesday, 23 June

  • We plan a two hour cruise along the Mississippi, with a meal (Chicken & BBQ ribs, or vegetarian lasagne) and with music (two ragtime musicians). Cost per person is expected to be $30. There is also a cash bar on the boat.

    • Walk along the Mississippi, Wednesday 24 June

  • Weather permitting, we plan a walk along the Mississippi, starting near the university, traveling south along the east bank, then returning along the west bank. The full walk should take about two hours, and is free. It is easy to turn around at any point and return.

    • Dinner at a jazz club (Dakota Bar and Grill), Thursday 25 June

  • We plan to go for dinner and jazz music. Cost varies widely depending on alcohol consumption. Personally, I expect to spend about $35. Both the music and the food at this restaurant are excellent and creative.
