The solutions appearing below are from the professor (Scot Adams), and may not follow all the requirements and conventions set out in each recitation. If a TA explained additional expectations on solutions, then his/her students should follow those expectations.

NOTE: In working a recitation quiz that covers material up to a given topic, be sure not to use techniques from a later topic. For example, if a quiz only covers up to Topic 0270 (Derivatives and rates of change) and asks you to compute a derivative of a quotient, be aware that the quotient rule is not allowed, and you must simply work out the limit of the difference quotient. Similarly, l'Hôpital's Rule is not available before Topic 0410.
