Donaldson-Thomas and topological string invariants

Abstract:
  I will discuss recent progress in Donaldson-Thomas theory as relates to Gromov-Witten theory, Gopakumar-Vafa invariants, and their incarnations in topological string theory.

There will be overlap with the 14-page arXiv preprint Gromov-Witten, Gopakumar-Vafa, and Donaldson-Thomas invariants of Calabi-Yau threefolds.
