The current cost of Ahlfors book in the bookstore is around $250. 
This is outrageous, in my opinion. The book has not changed in 36 years.
(The reason we are using it is that of the dozens of available texts, this
is the best---altho some sections can be updated as we will be doing).
Three cheaper sources may be: 

*A used 3rd edition. 

*The international edition which is sold outside the
U.S. You may be able to get one from amazon.co.uk.

*The Chinese edition (in English, but with a 
Chinese cover). This is the cheapest. Perhaps one of your 
Chinese friends can help you get it.
