I am a Dunham Jackson assistant professor in School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota. I received my Ph.D at the University of Chicago in 2017, under the supervision of Benson Farb.
My work lies at the juncture of topology, algebraic geometry, and point-counting over finite fields. I am interested in applications of algebraic topology to study various moduli spaces or configuration spaces.
I am currently on the academic job market in Fall 2019. Here is my CV.
My first name is pronounced "Wei-Ian". My name in Chinese is 陈伟彦.
