Auslander-Reiten quivers for string algebras

I will start with a more general calculation of an AR-quiver. After that I will present a family of non-hereditary tame algebras, known as string algebras. It turns out that in addition to being able to concretely classifying their indecomposables as string modules one can also concretely calculate the AR-quiver of a string algebra using the combinatorics of its string modules.
