Current Research Interests and Writing of Bert Fristedt

Current research interests:

(i) applications of probability to large scale problems in enumerative combinatorics and graph theory; (ii) interplay between games of strategy and mathematical structures.


Current writing interests:

I am currently working on three textbooks: (i) geometry for third- and fourth-year college and university students (with Professor John Baxter and Jonathan Rogness); (ii) a second edition of the book `Bandit Problems, Sequential Allocation of Experiments' (coauthored with Donald A. Berry--- with Yi Cheng to join for the second edition); a second edition of the book `A Modern Approach to Probability' (coauthored with Professor Larry Gray) for graduate students in mathematics, statistics, economics, and other fields.
