C.R.Rao Advanced Institute for Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS), an autonomous institute of higher learning and research, is first of its kind in the country which is solely devoted to and supported by advanced research and applications. AIMSCS endeavours to bring together and provide a forum for national and international experts and specialists from different fields to meet and address problems in the areas of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science and interdisciplinary areas of mutual interest and to advance cutting edge research in these fundamental sciences and to bring out results with applications to Cyber Security, Cryptography, Cryptanalysis, BIG DATA analytics, Bio-informatics, Survey Sampling and Official Statistics for modernizing statistical systems, and other areas of applications.
While doing research in cutting edge technologies, AIMSCS also caters to the needs of the society and the government. AIMSCS facilitates the dissemination of the advances made in mathematical sciences and newly emerging areas of science and technology through seminars, workshops and short courses and guiding researchers. AIMSCS has been offering consultancy services in the areas of cryptography and cryptanalysis to several government agencies and industrial organizations in the form of projects and tools and providing state of art solutions and conducting training programs to their scientists in the advanced areas security.
