I am interested in all aspects of teaching college mathematics, particularly the use of technology and active learning techniques in the classroom, training mathematics teachers, content knowledge for K-12 mathematics teachers, and ensuring access for students who have been historically underrepresented in STEM. I am also interested in the geometry and topology of three-dimensional manifolds and the related geometric group theory.

I am a baseball umpire. The Official Baseball Rules describe laying out a baseball diamond with a method that resembles a geometric construction.
