Homework 3 due Nov 5: 2.3.23, 3.1.3, and Problems 5 and 6 from the list of problems given for preparation for the midterm.
Homework 4 due Nov 22: 3.2.4(ii), 3.2.5, 3.3.13, 6.3.11.
Homework 5 due Dec 13: 6.2.2, 6.2.9, 6.2.10, 6.8.10.
The final will be set up in the same way as the midterm: Here are 6 problems of which four will be on the final: 1.2.14, 1.3.5, 3.2.3, 6.2.3, 6.2.9, 6.10.3. According to the official schedule, the final will be on Dec 18 from 4pm to 6pm in the regular classroom. You may turn in your final papers before the date. Put them under my office door, NOT in my mailbox. NO late finals will be allowed.
