Syllabus for Math 2263 --- Spring 2003

Description:

One semester course on multivariable differential and integral calculus. Topics include space curves, partial derivatives, multiple integration, line and surface integrals, Gauss, Green and Stokes thoerems.

Text:

Calculus, early transcendentals (4th edition), by James Stewart. Chapters 13-16.

Quizzes 1/5
Midterm Exams (1/5 each) 2/5
Final Exam 2/5

All exams will be open book, open notes, calculators allowed.

Homework:

Homework will be assigned but not collected. Instead there will be weekly quizzes consisting of problems very similar to the homework problems. If you can do the homework problems you should have no trouble with the quizzes. One quiz score will be dropped to allow for an absence or just a "bad day."
