1. Consider the following two sets of test scores:
    
   

   Test 1	81	83	87	78	76	75
   Test 2	85	91	99	74	67	64

   
    
   1. Find the mean for each set of test scores.
       
   2. Find the standard deviation for each set of test scores by using formula (11.7) on page 250 of the text.
       
   3. Check your answers by using the second method for calculating the standard deviation,
      i.e., by using formula (11.8) -- or equivalently, the formula given immediately after exercise 11.3.7.
