Lab Information
The lab files are Mathematica notebooks. In the first week, your TA will show you how to download these files to your home directory.
A TA will be on duty in Vincent Hall 5 computer Lab on Monday. Check lab office hours.
- In first-lab-day handout, you can find the basic instructions.
- Starting with Lab 2, load math2374.nb first.
- The grading guidelines for lab exercises will help you understand what we expect for your lab homework. This is an example lab writeup.
- Lab homework in the form of Mathematica notebooks are submitted online through the Moodle course site. The Lab homework is due 11pm on Tuesday.
- Notice that pictures in Mathematica notebooks take a lot of space. Saving a notebook with many picture may exceed you quota. To avoid this, you can save a file without the pictures by selecting "Delete All Output" from the "Cell" menu, it will remove all the Mathematica output in response to the command you typed, including the pictures.
