I am a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Mathematics. My advisor is Professor Gilad Lerman. My research interest lies on the interdisciplinary area of mathematics, statistics and computer science. Particularly, I am interested in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Dimension Reduction methods for high-dimensional data. My current work is mainly trying to answer the following questions: For a certain algorithm, what is the best possible theoretical guaruntees? How to improve the speed and accuracy of the algorithm? What is its mathematical justification?

During my spare time, I like biking, traveling, cooking and photographing (the cover photo was taken at Utah Lake and the image style is transferred using deep neural networks).
