Reading: Shastri: Sections 3.2-3.3.

Exercises: Shastri, 2nd edition: 3.1.7 (iv(b only)), 3.2.4, 3.3.15, 3.4.25 (i, ii). You do not need any results from Section 3.4 for these problems.
