11/20/06: We had a relatively low attendance today, even though I
thought I would be talking about interesting things. I discounted the
low attendance to the holiday spirit, but I am afraid that next time
there will be even fewer customers in the pre-Thanksgiving Wednesday
afternoon time. So, I have decided to cancel the class.
11/16/06: The Friday, November 17, class meeting will be in VinH 213,
this Friday only.
09/28/06: I will be out of town Monday-Tuesday, October 2-3. The
Monday class will be covered by Scott Wilson, who will carry the
original word in String Topology from Sullivan's school.
09/07/06: My office hours are Wednesdays and Fridays 3:30-5:00
p.m. You should regard these not as a restriction but a guaranteed way
to see me. Otherwise, you are welcome to see me any time you are able
to get hold of me or by appointment.
