Final Exam:
It will take place on Monday May 13 in MechE 18 from 1:30 - 4:30.
Any topic from the material we have done this semester may be on the exam. This includes sections 8.1-8.6, 9.4, 9.5, 10.1-10.8, 12.1-12.4, 13.1-13.8, 14.1 - 14.6, 16.1, 16.2, 16.4, 16.5, 19.1 - 19.3, 19.5, 19.7. You may use a calculator. You should always show your work, and I want to see that you can do everything except numerical evaluation of basic functions without using the calculator. This applies particularly to integrals, where I want you to put down sufficient work so that I can see you can do the integral without a calculator. There will be the same formulas on the front of the exam that were on Exam 3, together with the formula for the discriminant given on page 694.

This has been a challenging and rewarding class for me to teach. I hope you have had a similar response to attending the class! It has also been fun, and a pleasure, getting to know you. Have a good Summer!
